You can go with a modern, sleek look with straight lines or choose a more traditional lagoon style appeal.
Additional features to consider include:
Building a pool doesn’t have to be stressful. Our pool construction services in Tulsa, Ok are designed to guide you through every stage so you always know what’s going on. After the design consultation and contract signing, you will walk through the following steps.
We prepare the construction plans and secure all required permits. Once approved, we call OKIE to have the underground utilities marked before digging. OKIE does not mark any private water, sewer, or sprinkler lines. As such, it is the responsibility of the homeowner to have any private lines moved from the project location.
When permits and plans are finalized, we measure and mark the exact pool location in your yard. Form boards are set carefully to match the approved design.
After the layout, the excavation team digs the pool to your selected shape, depth, and elevation. This is the first major step in bringing the pool to life.
Plumbing lines are installed to connect drains, skimmers, returns, lights, and any spa features. All piping is routed toward the equipment pad for system hookup.
Our steel crew installs #3 and #4 rebar in a horizontal and vertical grid. This reinforcement creates the strong framework that supports the pool shell.
Gunite (cement, sand, and aggregate) is sprayed under high pressure to form the pool shell. This step locks in the structure and provides long-term strength.
The tile of your choice is installed along the waterline and features. Then, the coping is set along the pool edge. Coping and tile material selections are made following the initial contract signing.
Pool equipment is installed and connected. Electric and gas are run by licensed professionals and verified for proper operation.
Following the equipment and utilities, the deck will be formed, reinforced with rebar, and poured to match the chosen style selected by you. Deck options will be discussed with you during the initial design development.
We remove leftover materials and clean the work area for the finishing stage. A final review confirms everything is ready for the interior finish.
Your selected interior finish is applied to achieve the desired look and water color. After finishing, we begin filling the pool with water.
We inspect the pool, complete touch-ups, and start up equipment once the pool is full. We will provide you with some basic operation and maintenance instructions and a referral for a local pool maintenance company.
Your pool is complete and ready to enjoy anytime, day or night. If you need help later, we’re always a phone call away.

Generally, a new pool build takes approximately 8-16 weeks, depending on project details. However, we are hesitant to guarantee hard deadlines because there are many factors that WILL impact this timeline. For instance, weather conditions, product back orders, permitting and inspections, and unexpected complications all pose their own time requirements. Even with the best planning and organizational skills, some things are simply out of our control. We would love to say that you will be swimming in three months, however, we feel it is better to be completely upfront with you on potential issues that can delay the building process. Tulsa Pools and Repair pledges to do our very best to be efficient and timely in each and every project. We do not advise planning parties until your project is completely finished.
Material selections of final finishings are discussed and chosen during the design and contract process. Specific colors are generally chosen within the first couple of steps in the building process. Sometimes, as customers are deciding which colors to go with, they may change their mind on their original material selections. When this occurs, contract addendums are required to reflect final cost changes. Tulsa Pools and Repair wants all our customers to be 100% satisfied, so we don't mind making those changes for you. Please keep in mind, every change request can prolong the process and impact the final timeline. However, at the end of the day, this is your pool, and you will be the one enjoying it for years to come!
